
JOHN MAYER
John Mayer is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. He gained fame for his melodic, often soft rock music, which earned him multiple Grammy Awards. He started playing guitar at 13 after being inspired by a Stevie Ray Vaughan tape. He attended Berklee College of Music but left to pursue music in Atlanta. His early albums like Room for Squares and Heavier Things achieved multi-platinum success. In 2005, he explored blues music, forming the John Mayer Trio and releasing the live album Try! and the studio album Continuum. He has also collaborated with blues and jazz artists and continues to record and tour.
